Cathederal ceililng are a great source of untapped space. The plan for the entryway in our home included a cathederal entry way. I envisioned it as a room instead. So that is what we did. We created a room that I use daily as my art room/office. The down stairs hall ceiling is still nine feet high. Just the right height for me to still get the cobwebs.
The cost to do this was minimal; remember I am extremly thrifty or cheap as some call me.
